History

Iria Beach is situated in Iria, a small traditional village near Nafplio. Due to it's location the place provides it's visitors with the opportunity to combine their holidays with excursions to the most important archeological and historical places of Greece.

Iria Beach is located at a distance of 25 km from the famous Ancient Theatre of Epidavros, at 31 km from the historical Argos, 41 km from the Mycenaean Tombs and 28 km from Ancient Tyrintha. Athens is not far either (only 177 km) and Corinth is only 72 km further. You can also cease the opportunity to visit Ancient Olympia that is situated at a distance of 215 km from Iria Beach.
